Adopting AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Adopting AI platform at adopting-ai.com, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).

Profile information: During onboarding you may provide your full name, business name, industry, team size, and monthly budget. This information is stored in our database and used to personalize your experience.

Tool usage data: We store the inputs and results of tools you use — assessments, calculator sessions, tool recommendations, and adoption strategies — to power your dashboard and enable progress tracking.

Newsletter opt-in: If you opt in during signup or from your profile, your email address is shared with Beehiiv to send our AI adoption newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

Payment information: When paid plans are available, payment processing will be handled by Stripe. We will not store full card details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of payment information.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Adopting AI platform
  • To personalise your dashboard, recommendations, and strategy outputs
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
  • To send the newsletter if you have opted in
  • To process payments and manage your subscription (when billing is live)
  • To respond to support requests or contact form submissions
  • To monitor platform performance and fix issues

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database platform, with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. Our application is hosted on Vercel. We use HTTPS throughout. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting and deployment
  • Beehiiv — newsletter delivery (opt-in only)
  • Stripe — payment processing (when billing is live)
  • Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data via your Profile page
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
