1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Adopting AI platform at adopting-ai.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid plan subscribers.

2. Description of service

Adopting AI is a SaaS platform that helps small business owners and solopreneurs assess AI readiness, calculate ROI, discover AI tools, and build personalised adoption strategies. The Service is provided on a freemium basis: core tools are available on a free plan; advanced features require a paid subscription.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are used in a manner harmful to other users or the platform.

4. Free and paid plans

The free plan provides access to core tools with limits on the number of initiatives. Paid plans unlock additional features and higher limits as described on the Pricing page.

Paid plan billing is processed via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe an error occurred.

We reserve the right to change plan pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' data
• Reverse engineer or copy any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, stress-test, or abuse the platform
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent

6. Your content

Content you enter into the platform (assessment answers, calculator inputs, strategy notes) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your content to third parties.

7. Intellectual property

The Adopting AI platform, including its design, code, copy, and tool frameworks, is our intellectual property. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Tool outputs — including readiness scores, ROI projections, tool recommendations, and adoption strategies — are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional business, financial, or legal advice.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, error-free, or that results from any tool will be accurate for your specific situation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adopting AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Upon termination, your data may be retained for a reasonable period before deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
